Introduction
The National Park faced continuously the issues of forest thefts, forest fires, litter, rush tourism, pollution of springs and streams, livestock grazing, encroachments, poaching and many others. This campaign is focused on providing visitors of MHNP awareness regarding importance of National Park, what will be their conduct while passing through or stay within the boundaries of MHNP. This information will be provided to the visitors by IWMB Volunteers under the supervision of IWMB. Welcome to the dedicated and passionate team of volunteers at the Margallah Hills National Park! Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) has introduced a volunteers’ programme for the public to be involved in its conservation efforts .Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our park community, contributing their time, energy, and expertise to help preserve and enhance the natural beauty and cultural significance of this cherished landscape.
